With an extensive portfolio that spans diverse typologies and scales, both in Portugal and internationally, our focus areas include healthcare, high-end residential, hospitality, and offices + workplace design. Our founder, Luis Pedra Silva, encapsulates this ethos with a background that includes academic pursuits in Lisbon, Spain, and, South Africa.

His academic journey, coupled with collaborations in Lisbon’s architectural landscape, cleared the way for the establishment of our studio in 2003.

Pedra Silva Architects is a full-service architecture firm in Portugal, based in central Lisbon since 2003. We work in three focused areas—healthcare, hospitality and workplace design—delivering each project end-to-end as a single point of contact, from concept and regulatory approvals through to construction handover.

Our proximity to Lisbon's licensing authorities, combined with over 20 years of experience across Portuguese municipalities, lets us keep timelines realistic and coordinate the full team of specialists—structural, MEP, acoustics, fire safety—under one roof.
