Pedra Silva Architects is an architecture firm based in central Lisbon and founded in 2003. We deliver projects across Portugal in three areas of expertise: healthcare, hospitality and workplace design. We act as a single point of contact from concept through to construction.
Our projects in Portugal have been delivered from Lisbon and Porto to the Algarve and Ericeira, with a body of international work in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Australia and beyond.

Lisbon and the Tagus
From our studio in Travessa do Corpo Santo, we deliver clinics, offices and hospitality fit-outs across central Lisbon and the wider metropolitan area. Recent work includes Twist Clinic, Optylon Krea Offices and Biogen II. Local-licensing fluency with Camara Municipal de Lisboa is part of the in-house service.
Porto and the North
Projects in Porto and the northern region draw on the same single-point-of-contact model. We coordinate with regional camaras and ERS-equivalent regulators for healthcare commissions, and liaise with local construction teams from concept through hand-over.
Algarve, Ericeira and beyond
Hospitality work has taken the studio south to the Algarve and along the western Atlantic coast. The Aethos Ericeira renovation is a recent landmark project: a 3,745 m2 boutique hotel revived from an abandoned building. Sites outside the capital often need bilingual coordination with international owners, which is part of the studio's standing capability.
Pedra Silva is bilingual (English and Portuguese) and works across three verticals only: healthcare, hospitality and workplace design. Founded in 2003 by Luis Pedra Silva, the studio also has international experience in the UK, Australia, Ireland and Spain.
